Hyperion – Norwegian Associaton for Fantastic Activities (NAFFA) uses the term “fantastic activities” for the interests we represent. These include, but are not limited to, computer, card and tabletop games, roleplaying and LARPs, science fiction, horror and fantasy, cosplay, quidditch and miniatures and much, much more.

These interests are the most widespread amongst today’s youth and it’s important that there are venues available to indulge oneself in said interests.  Hyperion’s mission is to engage and inspire people to create activities in their community and invite and visit each other in the fantastic community.

Hyperion is the Norwegian umbrella for groups who organise fantastic activites. Through events, courses,  talks, social gatherings and much more, we teach and encourage youth and young adults to bring activity home and abroad. Each year member association receive monetary funding and can apply for additional funding for projects that they think will increase the number of members. Also, one could apply to travel abroad to a project somewhere beyond Norway’s borders.

We are 150 member association which together has a total of 15 000 members, and we are still increasing in numbers.
